OPERATIONS HEAD

Job Description : OPERATIONS HEAD GABON a reputed manganese mining company located in Mounana, Gabon, is looking for an ideal candidate for the Head of Operations role, which typically involves managing all aspects of mining, processing, and safety at their mine. Candidate should be a graduate in Industrial engineering, preferably in Mining engineering with 20 to 25 years experience having hands on experience in Manganese mine operations. Must have Africa work experience Spoken French communication skills mandatory Production & Planning: Leading day-to-day mining activities to meet annual and monthly production targets. This includes developing long-term and short-term mining schemes and strategic plans for mine development or expansion. Infrastructure Management: Overseeing the setup and maintenance of process plants, Storage Facilities and other critical mine infrastructure. Team Leadership: Managing a large, diverse team of mining professionals, engineers, and support staff. (Gabonese citizens and Expats) Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all activities remain compliant with Gabonese labor and mining codes, as well as international health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Technical Skills: Familiarity with High-Earth Moving Machinery and project management software. Budget management and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments in the mining area Medically "FIT" and able to work in tiring conditions.
