Job Description : GENERAL MANAGER – LOGISTICS Location: Nairobi Area, Kenya Level: Executive Management Are you a strategic visionary with a deep-rooted passion for the East African logistics landscape? We are looking for a high-caliber General Manager to lead our regional operations and drive transformative growth across the region. ???? The Mission As the General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the company's regional strategy, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the Mining, O&G, and Project Cargo sectors. You will oversee all corporate management aspects including marketing, commercial, financial, and operational decision-making. ????? Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead the senior management team in developing and executing multi-country regional strategies. Financial Oversight: Partner with the Group CFO to meet reporting targets and monitor annual budgets. Operational Excellence: Maintain top-tier QHSE practices and a fully integrated Quality Management System (QMS). Business Development: Drive commercial efforts, convert strategic partnerships into executive sales, and expand market share. Team Empowerment: Supervise key roles including the Financial Controller, HR Manager, and Commercial Development Manager. ???? What You Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; an MSc or MBA is a major plus. Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years at the Executive Management level. Regional Expertise: Proven experience in logistics operations specifically within the East African region.
