Job Description : Rice and Maize Milling Plant Manager Location -Africa Tanzania salary-1800usd net saving tax free Total yrs of exp-10+yrs of exp The plant manager oversees all rice and maize milling activities, including production, inventory management, safety, food safety, and continuous improvement efforts. This role involves managing plant supervisors daily and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. **Responsibilities:** · Direct daily milling operations focused on safety, food safety, and efficiency. · Responsible for continuous improvement of the facility and operations. · Responsible for directing, hiring, and developing supervisors and other staff. Including disciplinary actions. · Manage inventories to fill orders and for lot tracking. · Maintain quality standards for milling of rice. · Maintain required production, safety, and food safety records. · Develop KPIs (safety, food safety, and production-based). Record and report to the Manufacturing Manager. · Implement and monitor daily Food Safety/SQF standards throughout the facility. · Maintain a safe work environment and implement safety initiatives. · Track and control plant expenses. Qualifications · Minimum of 10 years in a food processing or grain milling industry. Experience in the rice and industry is a plus. · Experience with using Buhler machines · Minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience. · Must have good communication skills to interact with all levels of our organization. · Microsoft Office knowledge required, especially Excel. · Knowledge of SQF standards or typical food safety standards · Knowledge of related OSHA standards and requirements.
