Job Description : PROCESS ENGINEER GERMANY Open to International candidates with 15+ years experience Process Engineer (m/f/d) Extrusion & Plastics Recycling (rPET) Innovac GmbH is a technology-driven company focused on industrial process development in plastics processing. To strengthen our technical team, we are looking for an experienced Process Engineer with a background in extrusion and recycling of thermoplastics. Responsibilities Set up, operate and optimize pilot and development processes Develop stable process windows for recycled materials Technical evaluation of material variability (e.g. quality, contamination, color, odor) Analysis and optimization of: Melt stability Filtration IV management and thermal degradation Structured technical documentation, especially within development and publicly funded projects Technical coordination with: Recycling partners Machine and tooling manufacturers Testing institutes and technical centers Profile Several years of hands-on experience in plastics extrusion, ideally: Twin-screw extrusion (compounding, recycling, optionally reactive extrusion) Processing of PET or comparable polyester systems Strong process understanding with regard to: Reproducibility and process windows Melt handling, filtration and material stability Experience working with recycled materials and variable raw material quality Structured, analytical and practice-oriented working style Preferred qualifications Experience with foam extrusion or structured profiles Knowledge of thermal joining / welding of thermoplastics Basic understanding of mechanical principles Experience working with machine manufacturers or technical centers
