PLANT HEAD

Job Description : PLANT HEAD EAST AFRICA FOR FLEXI PACKAGING 15-20 years experience Flexible packaging converter serving FMCG brands across East Africa. Our integrated plant operates rotogravure printing lines, solventless lamination, blown film extrusion, pouching, and slitting — all under one roof. We are looking for a driven and experienced Plant Head who will take full ownership of our factory operations. What you'll own 1) End-to-end daily factory operations — production planning, scheduling, and output targets 2) Quality control and quality assurance across all product lines 3) Workforce management — leading, motivating, and disciplining shop floor teams 4) Machine efficiency monitoring and preventive maintenance coordination Waste reduction, yield improvement, and cost optimization initiatives 5) Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards What we're looking for 1) Minimum 4 years of experience in a plant/production leadership role 2) Background in flexible packaging, printing, or allied manufacturing — strongly preferred 3) Proven ability to manage multi-process plants and cross-functional shop floor teams 4) Strong understanding of quality systems, machine operations, and process efficiency 5) A problem-solver with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
