Job Description : General Manager – Projects Industry: Cement CARIBBEAN Role Overview We are looking for a highly experienced General Manager – Projects to lead and execute large-scale cement plant projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing end-to-end project lifecycles within reputed cement organizations. Key Responsibilities Lead planning, execution, and commissioning of greenfield and brownfield cement projects Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and operations Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Drive vendor management, contract negotiations, and stakeholder coordination Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required Oversee installation, commissioning, and stabilization of plant operations Candidate Profile Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 30 years in project management within large cement companies (mandatory) Strong exposure to cement plant construction, expansion, and modernization projects Proven leadership and team management skills Key Skills Project Planning & Execution Cement Plant Engineering Budget & Cost Control Vendor & Stakeholder Management Risk Assessment & Mitigation Strong communication and leadership skills Preferred Background Candidates currently working with or having prior experience in reputed large cement manufacturing companies will be given preference.
