Job Description : COUNTRY MANAGER INDOINESIA A respected international energy services organisation is seeking a Country Manager to oversee its Indonesia operations, based in Jakarta. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to take full ownership of country performance, blending strategic vision with hands-on operational oversight. As Country Manager Oil and Gas in Jakarta, you will play a central role in steering the Indonesia operation towards continued success. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing all facets of business management—from financial performance to operational delivery—while driving growth through targeted business\development efforts. You will work closely with engineering teams on project execution as well as commercial teams on contract negotiation. Lead and manage all aspects of the Indonesia business with complete P&L ownership, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability through careful stewardship of resources. Oversee daily operations spanning engineering, project delivery, human resources, finance, and sales functions to maintain seamless execution and support organisational objectives. Drive business development initiatives targeting energy, EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction), and upstream oil and gas sectors by identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. Build and sustain robust connections with key clients, partners, and internal stakeholders at both local and global levels to enhance trust and cooperation. Align local strategies with broader regional and global directives by ensuring compliance with corporate governance policies and processes. Develop and lead a diverse cross-functional team across multiple departments, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development among staff members. Manage project execution from site-based activities to engineering deliverables by ensuring delivery excellence and adherence to quality standards. Navigate complex internal approval processes efficiently while maintaining alignment with global standards for operational discipline. Review commercial contracts and terms & conditions from both execution perspectives and local legal requirements before formal legal review. Stay informed about local laws and regulations relevant to the oil and gas industry to ensure compliance in all business activities. To excel as Country Manager Oil and Gas in Jakarta, your proven experience should encompass broad general management skills combined with deep industry knowledge. You bring not only academic credentials but also practical expertise gained from leading country-level operations within multinational settings.
