Job Description : Agriculture Workshop Manager Location: Uganda (Africa) Position: Agriculture Workshop Manager Industry: Agriculture / Farm Mechanization / Agro-Engineering/Construction Experience-15+years Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the agricultural machinery workshop Oversee maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy farm equipment such as: Tractors (John Deere, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, etc.) Harvesters, balers, planters, sprayers Loaders, graders, excavators (agri-use) Irrigation pumps and engines Plan preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules to reduce downtime Lead, train, and supervise mechanics, technicians, and helpers Ensure availability and control of spare parts, tools, and consumables Maintain maintenance logs, job cards, and service records Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Agricultural Engineering Strong hands-on experience in heavy agricultural machinery maintenance Proven experience managing workshops and technical teams Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems Experience in Africa / remote farm locations is a strong advantage Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication skills in English Willingness to be based in Uganda
