Supply Chain Manager

Job Description : Supply Chain Manager We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations within our business. The role involves managing procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier relationships for landscaping materials, plants, equipment, and project-related resources. The ideal candidate will ensure cost efficiency, timely delivery, and full alignment with project timelines and business objectives across multiple sites in the UAE. Key Responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier management, ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and alignment with project and business objectives • Source and procure landscaping materials such as plants, soil, irrigation systems, fertilizers, and equipment • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely availability of materials for ongoing and upcoming landscaping projects • Manage local and international suppliers, including nurseries and equipment vendors, ensuring quality and reliability • Oversee import processes for plants and materials, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and municipality requirements • Plan and manage logistics, transportation, and site deliveries across multiple project locations • Monitor inventory levels in yards and warehouses to avoid shortages or overstocking • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings • Track and analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement continuous improvements • Identify risks and develop contingency plans for supply disruptions (e.g., seasonal plant availability, import delays) • Ensure proper handling and storage of plants and materials to maintain quality Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field • Strong experience in landscaping construction and operations & maintenance within the UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi Minimum 15 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in landscaping, construction, or agriculture • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel • Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP or CIPS Key Competencies: • Strong planning and organizational skills • Negotiation and supplier management • Problem-solving and adaptability • Attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
