Job Description : General Manager – Trading & Distribution Location -Dubai AED 60,000 to 70,000 We are hiring an accomplished General Manager to lead a diversified and fast-growing trading portfolio in Dubai, covering luggage, textiles, shampoos, cosmetics, and other consumer goods. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business performance, expanding market presence, and building scalable trading operations across regional and international markets. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall business strategy for multiple trading verticals across FMCG and consumer goods categories Drive revenue growth through expansion into new markets, channels, and distribution networks (retail, wholesale, export) Develop and manage strong relationships with international suppliers, manufacturers, and brand principals Identify new product opportunities and expand the company’s trading portfolio strategically Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer demand to adjust business strategy accordingly Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and strategic partnerships Build and manage a strong leadership team across sales, operations, procurement, and finance Ensure strong financial performance, including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Drive compliance with trade regulations, import/export requirements, and industry standards Requirements Minimum 12–15+ years of experience in trading, FMCG distribution, or the consumer goods industry Proven experience managing multi-product or multi-category business portfolios Strong exposure to Middle East/GCC markets preferred Demonstrated success in scaling trading businesses and improving profitability Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in P&L management Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive trading environment
