Production & System Manager

Job Description : Production & System Manager – Household Liquids & Cosmetics Manufacturing for our easteamed client based out at Zambia. We are looking for a strong manufacturing professional who can lead batch production operations and ensure consistent product quality in the household and personal care manufacturing sector. ???? Industry: Household & Personal Care Manufacturing Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and monitor batch manufacturing operations as per approved formulations and BMRs • Implement process control techniques to maintain product consistency and quality • Work closely with QC and R&D teams to troubleshoot batch issues and conduct root cause analysis • Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and safety standards • Review in-process quality parameters such as viscosity, pH, and appearance • Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime • Train and guide production supervisors, operators, and technicians • Support scale-up and validation of new formulations • Maintain proper documentation for production, deviations, and equipment cleaning • Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment reliability • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives • Manage production planning, scheduling, and KPI reporting • Develop SOPs and systems aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and GMP standards Requirements: • 10–15 years of experience in household liquids, cosmetics, or personal care manufacturing • Strong knowledge of batch manufacturing for detergents, shampoos, creams, and lotions • Experience with process control and troubleshooting batch inconsistencies • Familiarity with cosmetics manufacturing standards (ISO 22716) • Exposure to both Production and Quality Control functions • Strong analytical, leadership, and team management skills
