Head / Lead – Gas Processing Plant

Job Description : Head / Lead – Gas Processing Plant (GPP) to lead end-to-end plant operations for a world-class LNG and gas processing asset. This role will oversee commissioning, stabilization, and full-scale Operations & Maintenance (O&M), ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production aligned with global best practices. ???? Essential Background (Strict Requirement) ?? Extensive experience in LNG / Gas Processing / Ammonia / Ethanol plants ? Profiles from Refinery / Upstream / Downstream sectors will not be considered ?? Proven leadership in large-scale continuous process plants ?? Strong exposure to DCS-based plant operations & control philosophy ?? Experience in commissioning & plant ramp-up is highly preferred ???? Key Responsibilities ???? Provide strategic and operational leadership for the entire Gas Processing Plant (GPP) ???? Oversee Liquefaction, Gas Treatment, Utilities, Storage & Export systems ???? Lead commissioning, start-up, stabilization, and steady-state operations ???? Ensure plant performance meets production, reliability, and efficiency KPIs ???? Drive a strong process safety culture (PSM, HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA) ???? Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, PTW, LOTO, and international safety standards ???? Manage and develop multi-disciplinary teams (Operations, Maintenance, HSE) ???? Interface with corporate leadership, EPC contractors, and stakeholders ???? Lead troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and continuous improvement initiatives ???? Implement digitalization, predictive maintenance, and operational excellence programs ???? Own budgeting, cost optimization, and resource planning for O&M ???? Profile Required ???? B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred) ?? 18–30 years of experience in LNG / Gas Processing / Ammonia / Ethanol plants ???? Minimum 8–10 years in senior leadership roles (Plant Head / Operations Head / GPP Head) ?? Deep expertise in gas processing technologies (sweetening, dehydration, fractionation, liquefaction) ?? Strong command of DCS / APC systems and plant optimization ?? Proven track record in commissioning & large asset operations ??
