Job Description : Shift Supervisor – Paper Mill Operations ???? Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania ???? Employment Type: Full-Time | Rotational Shifts We are looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead mill operations in a fast-paced paper manufacturing environment. If you have hands-on experience in tissue/MG paper production and enjoy leading teams on the shop floor, this opportunity is for you! ???? Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise paper mill operations during assigned shifts Ensure achievement of production, quality, and safety targets Monitor process parameters and optimize efficiency Drive safety compliance and conduct toolbox talks Manage and motivate shift teams (operators & maintenance) Coordinate with maintenance & engineering for smooth operations Maintain shift reports and ensure proper handovers Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives ???? What We’re Looking For Diploma/Degree in Pulp & Paper / Chemical Engineering Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in kraft pulp/paper mill operations At least 2 years in a leadership/shift handling role Strong knowledge of: Tissue / MG paper manufacturing Chemical recovery & utilities Safety & environmental compliance Experience with DCS/SCADA systems preferred Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
