Job Description : Automotive General Manager A major automotive dealer in Djibouti is looking to hire General Manager Job Summary: oversees all dealership operations, driving profitability and customer satisfaction across sales, service, and parts departments. They are responsible for setting financial goals, recruiting/training staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards. Core Responsibilities:- · Operational Leadership: Directs day-to-day operations, ensures high-performing teams, and meets or exceeds customer satisfaction metrics. · Financial Performance: Reviews departmental forecasts, manages budgets, and monitors daily operating controls (DOC) to maximize profitability. · Sales and Inventory: Develops sales strategies, sets targets, and manages vehicle inventory to meet local market demands. · Customer Experience: Resolves elevated customer complaints and implements strategies to boost customer retention. · Compliance & Manufacturer Relations: Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while acting as the primary liaison with manufacturers. · Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Automotive engineering , Business or related field - 20+ years automotive experience - 8+ years in senior management role - Strong leadership and financial skills - Fluent English, French is a big plus.
