Job Description : Senior Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain Management - Projects ???? Location: Central Africa (Expat Opportunity) ???? Industry: Metal & Mining (Non-Ferrous Processing Plant) ???? Key Responsibilities Procurement Management Lead end-to-end procurement: vendor sourcing, RFQs, bid evaluation & order placement Prepare techno-commercial comparisons (local & international procurement) Drive negotiations and cost optimization strategies Review and approve Purchase Orders ensuring accuracy & compliance Coordinate third-party inspections (BIVAC or equivalent) Monitor vendor performance and ensure on-time delivery Stores & Inventory Management Oversee warehouse and stores operations Ensure timely GRN processing and inventory accuracy Implement SOPs for material handling, traceability & storage Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize losses Financial Coordination Support budgeting and procurement planning Prepare cash flow forecasts aligned with procurement schedules Track procurement spend vs budget Ensure timely invoice processing & GIT clearance Logistics & Supply Chain Manage shipment planning, documentation & tracking Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs & inspection agencies Resolve logistics challenges and ensure timely deliveries Vendor Management Develop and manage vendor database Conduct performance reviews (quality, cost, delivery) Build long-term strategic supplier partnerships Team Leadership Lead procurement, stores & logistics teams across sites Drive team performance, KPIs, and capability development Promote best practices and continuous improvement culture Strategic Procurement & Compliance Align procurement strategy with project timelines Ensure compliance with policies and statutory requirements Drive digitization and process improvements Support audits with proper documentation ????
