Job Description : Plant Head – Production (Precast Manufacturing) TANZANIA ???? Experience: 10+ years in Precast Manufacturing, Plant Operations, and Production Management The role requires a strong hands-on leader with deep expertise in precast operations, production planning, plant efficiency, and shop floor leadership to ensure high-quality output, operational excellence, and safe plant operations. ???? Key Responsibilities • Lead daily plant production to meet output targets and delivery timelines. • Plan production schedules and optimise manpower, machinery, and materials. • Ensure strict quality standards, safety compliance, and HSE practices across the plant. • Drive cost control, operational efficiency, and productivity improvements. • Coordinate with logistics, sales, and project teams for smooth dispatch and execution. • Lead, train, and mentor plant teams, supervisors, and department heads. • Oversee plant maintenance to minimise downtime and equipment breakdowns. • Support greenfield plant setup, expansion initiatives, and process improvements. • BE or B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. • 10+ years of experience in precast manufacturing or construction-related plant operations. • Strong understanding of production planning, plant management, and process optimisation. • Experience using planning tools such as MS Project or similar software. • Proven leadership ability to manage plant teams and drive operational excellence. ????
