Job Description : CEO MINING OMAN Mining Experience - 20 + Education - Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Mineral Processing, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred. Proven track record of managing diverse mining operations (exploration, drilling, production, processing). Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head our Mining Division. This senior role will be responsible for overseeing and driving performance across all verticals of the division, including mineral exploration, mining services, drilling & blasting operations, and the marble and industrial minerals businesses who will be the responsible person for the entire P&L, Business Development and Operations. The ideal candidate will bring technical mining expertise, commercial acumen, and strong leadership to build operational excellence, ensure safety and compliance, and support the division's growth in line with the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership - Provide vision and strategic direction for all verticals within the Mining Division. - Develop and execute business plans to achieve operational, financial, and growth targets. - Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas across mining operations and mineral resources. - Drive the acquisition of new exploration and mining projects, including greenfield and brownfield assets, after conducting comprehensive due diligence and commercial assessments. Operational Oversight - Lead and supervise end-to-end execution of exploration projects (greenfield and brownfield). - Oversee mining services including drilling & blasting contracts, ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery. - Manage marble and industrial minerals operations, including quarrying, processing, and marketing. - Ensure optimal resource utilization across manpower, machinery, and materials. Technical and Project Management - Approve exploration programs, mining plans, and production targets in coordination with technical teams. - Lead due diligence on potential projects including geological assessments and feasibility studies. - Monitor progress of ongoing projects, resolve bottlenecks, and implement performance improvement initiatives. Financial & Commercial Management - Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts for the division. - Ensure profitability of each vertical through cost control and revenue optimization. - Negotiate and manage key contracts, vendor agreements, and customer relationships. Compliance, ESG & Safety - Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, mining laws, and environmental standards. - Promote a strong safety culture and implement HSE best practices across all mining sites. - Work closely with regulatory authorities and ensure smooth license acquisition and renewals. People Management - Build, lead, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of mining engineers, geologists, operations managers, and support staff. - Drive talent development, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
