Job Description : Head – Formulations Business Development Location: USA Industry: Pharmaceuticals (Formulations – OSD & Injectables) Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to lead the Formulations Business Development function for a reputed Indian pharmaceutical company in the US market. The role will be responsible for driving strategic growth, expanding B2B partnerships, and strengthening market presence across Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) and Injectables. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the US business development strategy for formulations (OSD & Injectables). Identify, develop, and manage B2B partnerships with pharma companies, distributors, and strategic clients. Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with organizational targets. Monitor market trends, competition, and regulatory landscape in the US pharma sector. Collaborate with internal teams (Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless execution. Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial agreements. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings in the US. Build and mentor a high-performing business development team. Candidate Profile MBA / PG in Management (preferred) with a strong pharma background. 20+ years of experience in pharmaceutical business development. Proven expertise in US market – formulations (OSD & Injectables). Strong track record in B2B sales, client acquisition, and revenue growth. In-depth understanding of USFDA regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
