20 yearsJob Description : Business Development Manager Industry: Oil and Gas Location: Lagos and Port Harcourt, Nigeria Job Summary The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and leading market expansion initiatives within the oil and gas sector. The role focuses on building strategic partnerships, securing new business, and ensuring the company’s services align with client needs and industry opportunities. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement business development strategies to support the company’s growth objectives. - Identify and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders. - Monitor market trends and track upcoming projects within the oil and gas sector. - Promote the company’s products and services while aligning solutions with client needs. - Support the preparation and submission of bids, tenders, and proposals. - Identify and acquire new clients while managing and expanding existing accounts. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder engagements. - Engage with relevant regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders within the oil and gas sector. - Monitor performance against business development targets and drive revenue growth. Qualifications and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline. - MBA is an added advantage. - Minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in business development within the oil and gas industry, with at least 6 years in a management role - Strong knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas sector (upstream, midstream, and downstream). - Proven track record in client relationship management, sales growth, and contract acquisition within the industry.
