Job Description : SENIOR DIRECTOR: Downstream Process Development – Biologics USA Open to International candidates with 25+ years experience experienced leader to oversee day-to-day operations for mammalian-cell purification processes within our Downstream Process Development group. This role will direct a broad range of technical and leadership activities, including: Oversight of downstream process development and complex purification workflows Scale-up and technology transfer to manufacturing facilities Collaboration with client partners Driving continuous improvement initiatives Leading and mentoring a team of approximately 20 engineers and scientists. Join a well-established and rapidly growing CDMO with more than two decades of success in the biologics industry. This role is based in the Los Angeles, CA area. Relocation assistance is extremely limited. Only candidates currently living and working in the United States will be considered. 2) ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR/DIRECTOR: MSAT, Downstream, Biologics You will be leading technical strategy and execution for scale-up, along with commercial manufacturing for proteins in mammalian cells in GMP sites and more. Strong technical expertise and leadership/mentoring is important to help grow and develop your team. Taking tech transfer from Process Development into manufacturing operations... ...and so much more! MS or Ph.D. in engineering or science with 6-8+ years of industry experience. Must have hands-on experience with large-scale chromatography columns, tangential flow filtration systems and depth filtration. Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is preferred. This role is based in the Los Angeles, CA area.
