Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR UK a prestigious, luxury retail and ecommerce brand. As a result of consistent and ongoing investment and growth - the Founders are now seeking an experienced Finance Director, to join their London based head office function. This is a broad, all-encompassing Finance Directors Position - suitable for those who are excited by the opportunity to carve out a 'best-in-class finance function and drive key commercial and strategic decision making. Reporting director to the Founders - this is an opportunity to join the business at an exciting time of continued growth and investment The remit of the role is incredibly varied and will include the following Ensure all necessary statutory accounting, financial reporting and consolidations work is completed accurately and on time Ensure adherence to all compliance, governance and controls Review monthly management accounts and produce relevant performance reports with clear commentary, insight, as well as ad hoc analysis Drive budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis Drive key finance change and transformation processes, to further develop systems and relevant processes to build out a more formalised finance function Support the founders to identify further investment opportunities and drive commercial decision making and strategic support We are seeking experienced finance directors who possess the drive and capability to carve out an effective finance function Those who have a proven track record of success building teams; carving out systems and processes and can effectively oversee all mainstream and commercial finance activities Previous experience with ERP systems would be valuable; as well as advanced Excel and Xero Experience of working in an international business, particularly with US links; transfer pricing and US tax would all be useful, although not essential We are only considering those who have previous worked within the retail, ecommerce and / or manufacturing sectors – as this is such a pivotal role within the senior leadership team and the business more widely, sector experience is key 10) TOOL ROOM HEAD UK Open to qualified International candidates with 15+ years experience A successful and well-known manufacturing business in Blackburn is recruiting for a Toolroom Manager to oversee and improve the day-to-day engineering and production output, working 5 days p/w onsite. The position is offering a starting salary of £150,000 - £155,000 p/a + annual bonus, taking up a leadership position that reports directly to the senior management tea This is an exceptional opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact through the management and development of a dedicated tooling team, ensuring that safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently met within a regulated GMP environment. If you are passionate about fostering a positive culture and driving operational excellence, this position will allow you to thrive while making a real difference. As Toolroom Manager, you’ll lead a team of experienced engineers and operators in day-to-day operations, while ensuring best practice machining methods are embedded, enabling the team to meet KPI’s and improve customer experience, while focusing on health & safety, quality, efficiency and on time delivery of the department. Your key tasks and responsibilities will include: Setting, monitoring and improving KPI’s to identify issues and remove roadblocks to achieving performance. Report and manage issues that arise in the Toolroom, ensuring action is taken to remove problems and maintain delivery to the factory. Work alongside other leaders to ensure a consistent message is delivered across the facility. Ensure individual performance and behaviour levels are set and reviewed with all team members, including leave and absenteeism Drive improvement in cellular performance, ensuring that best practice is shared across the wider business. Coordinate and deliver the Toolroom training plan while coaching and developing the team Involvement with and leading Toolroom Lean & CI initiatives. Ensuring new ideas / processes are deployed in a consistent manner across multiple shifts Put forward ideas for improvement activity and capital investments working with the Process Engineering team and the wider manufacturing team. Experience using Machine operating systems, with Fanuc and Heidenhain advantageous Ability to use ERP systems HNC (or equivalent experience) in related discipline A strong background in Tool Fabrication / Machining Management / Leadership experience within in a fast-paced environment Proven experience in handling employee development and training. Experience of LEAN manufacturing tools and techniques A proven strong communicator
