E&I Maintenance Manager

Job Description : E&I Maintenance Manager – Bulk Material Handling Job Location: OMAN Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage all Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) maintenance activities for bulk material handling systems. Ensure reliable operation of equipment such as conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, crushers, ship loaders/unloaders, and associated systems. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation faults to minimize downtime. Oversee calibration, testing, and maintenance of field instruments (sensors, transmitters, analyzers, etc.). Manage PLC, SCADA, and control systems for plant automation and optimization. Plan and execute shutdowns, breakdown maintenance, and major repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies. Lead, train, and supervise maintenance teams including engineers, technicians, and contractors. Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation. Coordinate with operations, mechanical teams, and external vendors. Monitor spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or related field. Minimum 14-18 years of experience in E&I maintenance, preferably in bulk material handling / cement / mining / port operations. Strong knowledge of: PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) SCADA/DCS systems Motors, drives (VFDs), MCCs, switchgear Field instrumentation and calibration Experience in handling large-scale conveyor systems and automation. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices.
