Production Head

Job Description : Production Head – Corrugation Industry TANZANIA We are looking for an experienced Production Head / Manager for a Corrugated Box Manufacturing Plant. ???? Role Overview: The candidate will be responsible for complete production planning, execution, quality control, manpower management, maintenance coordination, cost control, and timely dispatch. The role ensures smooth operations of corrugator, printing, die cutting, stitching, gluing, and dispatch activities while achieving production targets with optimum efficiency and minimum wastage. ???? Key Responsibilities: • Production planning (daily/weekly/monthly) as per sales orders • Ensure timely execution & coordination with Sales, PPC, Stores & Dispatch • Handle complete plant operations – corrugator, printing, die cutting, stitching, packing • Improve productivity, monitor OEE & reduce downtime • Maintain quality standards (GSM, bursting strength, box compression, etc.) • Control wastage & optimize raw material usage • Manage manpower, shifts & team performance • Coordinate maintenance & ensure smooth machine operations • Ensure safety, compliance & 5S practices • Drive continuous improvement (Lean / Kaizen / Six Sigma) ???? Qualifications: Diploma / B.Tech / BE – Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred) ???? Experience: • 12+ years in corrugation industry • Minimum 5 years in leadership role handling corrugator plant ???? Skills: • Strong knowledge of corrugation process • Leadership & team handling • Production planning & costing controlling • Problem-solving & ERP/MIS knowledge • Quality systems understanding
