Job Description : Printing Manager / Press Manager – Heidelberg (Central Africa, Malawi) A leading commercial printing company in Malawi is looking for an experienced Printing Manager / Press Manager to lead Heidelberg press operations in a high-volume environment. Location: Malawi (Central Africa) About the Role You will manage day-to-day press operations, team performance, and production quality on advanced Heidelberg presses, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality output. Key Machines Under Your Control: Heidelberg CD74-8 P-C (c.2005, 8 color, 53 × 74 cm, approx. 186 million impressions) CP2000, electronic double sheet control, intercom Steel plate in feeder & delivery, Heidelberg AirStar Technotrans Beta C refrigeration/ink temperature control Programmable roll/blanket/impression cylinder wash via CP2000 Heidelberg PowderStar AP262, Eltex ionised blast in feeder Heidelberg ScrollStar, Alcolor with Vario damping for 8 color Heidelberg SM74-10-P6 (c.2003, 10 color, 52 × 74 cm, Silver series) Alcolor, Autoplate, CP2000 Grafix Exatronic powder spray, Preset Steel plate in feeder & delivery, Heidelberg ink line system Alcosmart AZR Programmable roll/blanket/impression cylinder wash via CP2000 De-ionised air blast at feeder Technotrans Combistar Beta C combined refrigeration/ink temp control Candidate Profile 9+ years of experience in offset printing, with strong exposure to Heidelberg CD/SM series. Minimum 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role as Press Manager / Printing Manager. Hands-on knowledge of CP2000, Alcolor dampening, Technotrans (Beta C / Combistar), and powder spray systems. Diploma/Degree in Printing Technology or related field preferred. Willing to relocate and work full-time in Malawi (Central Africa). Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
