EAST AFRICA This is a high-accountability, execution-intensive role—critical to ensuring plant stability, workforce discipline, and zero-gap compliance. ???? Role Context You will operate at the intersection of people, discipline, and operations, directly influencing how effectively the plant runs—every single day. This role is not about policy design. It is about driving outcomes on the shop floor. ???? What You Will Own HR Operations & Workforce Management End-to-end plant HR operations: attendance, payroll inputs, manpower planning Driving discipline, absenteeism control, and workforce productivity Industrial Relations (IR) Maintaining a stable IR environment on the shop floor Handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and supporting wage settlements Administration & Facilities Complete ownership of canteen, security, housekeeping, and plant facilities Ensuring hygiene, safety, and infrastructure reliability Compliance & Governance Ensuring adherence to key labour laws, including: Factories Act, 1948 Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 Maintaining audit readiness and supporting Labour Codes implementation Vendor & Contract Workforce Management Driving contractor compliance, cost efficiency, and service quality ???? Reporting Structure Reports to: Plant Head Dotted line: Head of HR ???? What We’re Looking For 18 years of experience across Plant HR, IR, and Administration Strong, hands-on exposure to factory environments Proven experience in managing shop-floor IR situations independently Deep understanding of labour laws and compliance frameworks High ownership mindset with the ability to operate in demanding, ground-level roles ???? This role is best suited for professionals who are comfortable handling real-time plant challenges, not just managing processes. ???? Why This Role?
