Head of Automotive Business

Job Description : Head of Automotive Business (Dubai) Role Objective: The Head of Automotive Business will be responsible for driving overall commercial strategy, revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability across all automotive verticals. The incumbent must bring strong commercial acumen, deep automotive industry expertise, and multi-market exposure. This is a strategic and execution-focused leadership role with direct impact on top-line growth, margin optimization, and global expansion. Key Responsibilities: 1. Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth Develop and execute group-wide commercial strategy. Drive revenue growth with yield discipline. Identify new markets and expansion opportunities. Strengthen pricing, margin management, and cost optimization. 2. Automotive Business Leadership Lead import/export automotive operations. Strengthen relationships with global suppliers. Monitor global automotive trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscape. Ensure effective inventory management and working capital optimization. 3. Performance & Governance Establish KPIs for revenue, units sold, gross margin, and market growth. Drive accountability across business units. Provide commercial insights to CEO and Board. Lead high-performance commercial teams across regions. Experience 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience. Significant exposure to the automotive industry (mandatory). Strong experience in automotive trading (import/export preferred). Exposure to multiple international markets (Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia preferred). Proven track record of scaling revenue and entering new markets. Experience managing P&L responsibility at regional or group level. Background Diverse professional exposure across markets and business models. Strong commercial negotiation capability. Experience working in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments. Exposure to luxury automotive or premium segments is an advantage. Data-driven decision maker. High ownership mindset and entrepreneurial drive. Cross-cultural leadership capability. Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Group-CEO.
