Step into the role of General Manager Plantation & Head of Company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where you'll oversee 20,000 hectares of plantation estates and multiple oil mills across Peninsular Malaysia & East Malaysia. As the General Manager Plantation & Head of Company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations while ensuring alignment with corporate goals and sustainability standards. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will act as a strategic leader while managing day-to-day activities across plantations, oil mills, property, and investment portfolios. Developing and executing corporate strategies to drive sustainable performance and stakeholder value. Managing large-scale plantation operations, including oil palm and coconut cultivation, agronomy practices, replanting programs, and mechanization initiatives. Overseeing financial performance through budgets, P&L statements, cost controls, and CAPEX planning. Leading cross-functional teams across divisions such as Plantation Management, Oil Mills, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Supply Chain & Procurement. Ensuring compliance with MSPO certifications, ESG frameworks, environmental regulations, and ethical labor practices. Presenting operational reports and strategic initiatives to the Board of Directors for approval. To thrive in this role, you’ll need extensive experience in plantation management coupled with strong corporate experience in operational & financial reporting, leadership skills and a commitment to sustainability. Your ability to balance strategic vision with operational excellence will be key to driving success in this role. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Agriculture/Forestry/Plantation Management/Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited institution. At least 20 years of experience in plantation/agriculture-related industries with 10+ years in senior leadership roles (e.g., Managing Director/CEO/COO/ Plantation Director). Proven expertise in managing large-scale plantation operations (oil palm/coconut). Strong financial acumen with proficiency in P&L management, budgeting, cost control, and investment/divestment activities. Knowledge of MSPO certifications, ESG frameworks, environmental regulations, and community engagement practices. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
