Head of Business

Job Description : Head of Business Industry: Retail / Supermarket Chain Lead and oversee end-to-end supermarket operations, including supply chain, merchandising, sales, and profit management. · Drive business growth and market expansion in alignment with the company's strategic objectives. · Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions. · Monitor and improve operational efficiency across all supermarket branches. · Ensure strong supplier relationships and effective supply chain management. · Manage financial performance, including revenue targets, cost control, and profitability. · Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities in Southeast Asia. · Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the operations and business teams. · Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. · Report directly to the Board of Directors/CEO with regular business updates and strategic recommendations. · Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field. · Minimum 18 years of progressive experience in the retail/supermarket industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (GM Operations, Head of Business, or equivalent). · Proven track record in managing large-scale supermarket operations, including supply chain, merchandising, and P&L responsibility. · Strong experience in driving business growth, market expansion, and operational excellence. · International exposure and experience within the Southeast Asia market is highly preferred. · Excellent leadership, people management, and cross-cultural communication skills. · Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment. · Fluency in English; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage. · This version positions the role as a senior strategic leader, with emphasis on operations, growth, · Open for Expatriates
