Manufacturing & Technical Head

Job Description : Manufacturing & Technical Head – MOMBASSA KENYA Location: Plant Based-Dadri We are looking for a seasoned Manufacturing & Technical Head to lead end?to?end operations at our corrugation box manufacturing plant. This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines strong technical expertise, operational excellence, and people leadership. You will be responsible for overall plant performance, ensuring safe, efficient, high?quality, and cost?effective manufacturing while driving continuous improvement across production, quality, maintenance, and cost control. ???? Key Responsibilities ? Lead end?to?end manufacturing operations of corrugated boards and boxes ? Achieve production, efficiency, quality, and on?time delivery targets ? Optimize corrugator, die?cutting, folder?gluer & stitching operations ? Drive technical excellence in paper selection, flute profiles, GSM & adhesives ? Oversee quality systems (BCT, ECT, GSM, moisture control) and reduce complaints ? Manage preventive & breakdown maintenance for high machine uptime ? Control conversion cost, wastage, utilities, and manpower productivity ? Lead annual CAPEX planning with technical justification ? Implement Lean / TPM / continuous improvement initiatives ? Ensure safety, statutory, and environmental compliance ? Lead, mentor, and develop multi?disciplinary plant teams ? Coordinate with overseas stakeholders, including Japan?based partners ? Work closely with Sales, Planning, QA, Supply Chain, and Finance ???? What We’re Looking For ???? B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Packaging) ???? MBA / PGDM (Operations) – preferred ???? 20 years of experience in corrugation manufacturing ???? 5+ years in a senior plant / manufacturing leadership role ???? Strong exposure to corrugated packaging industry (mandatory) ?? Expertise in corrugation Industry ???? Strong leadership, problem?solving, and decision?making skills
