Quality Head

Job Description : Quality Head - Plastics Plant GERMANY Open to International candidates This role reports directly to the Plant Head and is essential in driving quality excellence across processes and products. Preferred Background: - Candidate must have experience in the Plastics Parts / Auto Components industry. - Strong hands-on exposure in plastics parts quality is required. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure product quality meets defined standards. - Utilize strong analytical expertise in Root Cause Analysis, QC Story, and Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred). - Hands-on experience with systems: TS-16949, ISO 14000, ISO 18001, MACE Audit System. - Expertise in Inspection processes: Incoming, In-process, PDI, SPD, Calibration & CMM. - In-depth knowledge of FMEA, MSA, SPC & SQC. - Drive supplier quality through audits, evaluation & rating systems. - Acceptance of machines & processes using SPC techniques. - Coordinate with customer QA teams and handle customer queries. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives: 5S, Kaizen, Cost, Quality, Safety & Morale. - Conduct on-line quality training & defect prevention (Near Miss, MARU-A Defects, etc.). - Manage new product quality development at vendor end. - Analyze daily near misses & GCA (Global Customer Audit). Leadership Scope: - Lead and mentor a team of Quality Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors. Qualification: - Graduate Engineer / Diploma in Mechanical. Experience: - 18 years in Quality (Plastics / Auto Components preferred). Key Skills: - Strong communication & leadership abilities. - High analytical capability. - Knowledge of mechanical & electrical QA requirements. - Experience in large project handling & document control.
