Job Description : CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER MINING KOLWEZI DRC Open to International candidates 20+ years experience, preferably in mining sector Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and security of the plant, employees, and assets. Manage and supervise security personnel, including training, performance evaluation and discipline. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures. Collaborate with external agencies, such as local law enforcement and emergency services, to ensure effective response to security incidents. Investigate security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and other breaches, and implement measures to prevent recurrence. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to security. Develop and manage security budgets, including procurement of security equipment and services. Provide security related training and awareness programs to the guard force. Maintaining relationships with local authorities, stakeholders, and neighboring industries to enhance security of the plant.
