Job Description : Global Business Development (Formulations) DENAMRK Open to International candidates CTC circa Euro 275,000 We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head Global Business Development – Formulations for a reputed pharmaceutical organization. This role will be responsible for driving global growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic partnerships across regulated and emerging markets. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion • Develop and execute global business development strategy for formulations • Identify and penetrate new markets across US, EU, LATAM, ROW • Build a strong pipeline for licensing, partnerships, and alliances Client & Partnership Management • Lead global client acquisition and key account management • Negotiate and close out-licensing, in-licensing, and contract deals • Build long-term relationships with global partners, distributors, and pharma companies Portfolio & Commercial Strategy • Collaborate with R&D and regulatory teams to align product pipeline with market needs • Drive commercialization strategies for generic and specialty formulations • Evaluate opportunities in complex generics, NDDS, and differentiated products Financial & Business Performance • Own revenue growth, profitability, and business targets • Lead pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and deal structuring • Monitor market trends, competition, and regulatory landscape Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA, and RA teams for seamless execution • Support product launches and lifecycle management across markets • Ensure alignment with global compliance and business practices Leadership & Team Management • Build and lead a high-performing global BD team • Drive performance culture, capability building, and succession planning • Represent the organization at global forums, conferences, and client meetings ? MBA / PGDM (Marketing / International Business) or relevant qualification ? 20+ years of experience in Global Business Development – Pharma Formulations ? Proven track record in handling regulated markets (US, EU) ? Strong experience in licensing, partnerships, and international deal-making ? Deep understanding of pharma product lifecycle and regulatory pathways ? Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and market expansion ? Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills ? Experience in complex generics / specialty formulations ? Strong global network and client relationships ? Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills
