Job Description : Workshop Manager EAST AFRICA Industry: Cement / Construction / Mining/ oil & Gas Experience: 18+ Years Max age 45 Qualification: Graduate (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering) We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Workshop Manager to oversee workshop operations, fleet maintenance, and equipment performance for heavy industries such as cement, construction, and mining. The candidate should have strong expertise in handling heavy earth moving equipment, application machinery, and large fleets while ensuring system-driven maintenance processes, high equipment availability, and cost efficiency. ?? Manage complete workshop operations including repair, maintenance, and servicing of heavy and earth moving equipment. ?? Ensure maximum uptime and operational readiness of fleets and machinery. ?? Handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules. ?? Supervise maintenance of application equipment used in cement, mining, and construction projects. ?? Lead and manage technicians, engineers, and workshop staff for smooth daily operations. ?? Implement system-driven processes, SOPs, and maintenance controls. ?? Monitor spare parts inventory, procurement planning, and vendor coordination. ?? Control workshop budgets, maintenance costs, and resource utilization. ?? Maintain safety standards, statutory compliance, and housekeeping in workshop operations. ?? Prepare MIS reports on fleet performance, downtime, maintenance cost, and productivity. ?? Coordinate with project/site teams for timely deployment and equipment support. ?? Excavators, Loaders, Dumpers, Dozers, Graders, Cranes, Transit Mixers, Crushers, Batching Plants, Mining Equipment, and related heavy machinery.
