Job Description : GM FLEXI PACKAGING NORTH AMERICA Open to International candidates with 20-25 years experience 1. Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration or related field. Advanced degree preferred. 2. Extensive hands-on experience in polymer film extrusion and converting operations. The more years the better. 3. Proven leadership managing large production teams of 100 or more employees. 4. Strong track record driving process optimization, quality control, raw material management, product development and safety compliance in blown film environments. 5. Ability to mentor and develop future leaders who can eventually step into senior roles. 1. Provide full operational leadership for the plant and its 150 employees. 2. Oversee all production processes that affect film quality and output in blown film extrusion and converting. 3. Drive consistent quality, efficiency and profitability across the operation. 4. Build and develop a high-performing team while preparing the next generation of technical leadership. 5. Ensure full compliance with environmental, product safety and regulatory requirements. Leadership and Team Development 1. Lead, coach and mentor the entire plant team of approximately 150 people. 2. Identify and develop high-potential employees who can grow into future leadership roles. 3. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and technical excellence. Production and Process Oversight 1. Direct all daily production activities in blown film extrusion and converting. 2. Monitor and optimize key process parameters to maximize film quality and throughput. 3. Conduct regular inspections of extruder components, dies, cooling systems and related equipment. 4. Analyze process data and implement changes that improve consistency, yield and efficiency. Quality and Raw Material Management 1. Own overall product quality and raw material specifications and usage. 2. Maintain rigorous testing, sampling and laboratory protocols. 3. Partner with suppliers to ensure consistent raw material performance. Product and Process Development 1. Lead the introduction and scaling of new film products and formulations. 2. Evaluate process modifications and their impact on quality and production rates. 3. Record and document all process changes for long-term knowledge transfer. Safety, Environmental and Regulatory Compliance 1. Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies and industry associations on safety and environmental matters. 2. Maintain full compliance with all product safety standards and regulations. 3. Champion a zero-incident safety culture across the plant. Technical and Operational Support 1. Provide hands-on technical guidance to production, quality and maintenance teams. 2. Support sales and customer teams with product and process expertise when needed. 3. Drive cost reduction, waste elimination and overall plant performance improvements.
