Job Description : General Manager Finance (Pharmaceutical Sector) KENYA One of our prestigious clients is seeking a seasoned and strategic GM Finance to lead financial operations and drive long-term growth in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. ???? Key Responsibilities •Develop and execute financial strategies that support long-term R&D pipelines and market expansion. •Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly variance analysis to the Board. •Conduct feasibility studies for new product launches or facility upgrades. •Oversee Standard Costing for manufacturing, monitoring API. •Manage working capital cycles, specifically focusing on high-value inventory and accounts receivable from distributors. •Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure transparent financial reporting. •Manage tax planning and ensure adherence to pharmaceutical-specific tax incentives. •Manage corporate liquidity and foreign exchange risk for imported raw materials. •Secure funding for capital expenditures (CAPEX) related to lab equipment or manufacturing plants. ???? Candidate Profile •Experience: 15+ years in Finance •Leadership: Minimum 5–7 years in a senior leadership role within the Pharmaceutical industry •Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
