Job Description : Business Unit Head - Pharmaceutical Division (Line Cosmetics) DRC Industry: Pharmaceuticals / Healthcare / Cosmetics We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Unit Head (BUH) with a background in cosmetics pharmacy to lead and manage one of our key pharmaceutical business units. The ideal candidate will combine their pharmaceutical expertise with strong business acumen to drive growth, oversee product portfolios, manage teams, and ensure the achievement of sales, marketing, and operational targets. BUH is responsible for leading and managing a pharmaceutical business unit to drive sustainable growth and strong market performance. This role oversees the business unit’s product portfolio, sales, marketing, and operational activities, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives. The position requires strong pharmaceutical knowledge, business leadership skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to achieve commercial and operational targets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: >Develop and implement business strategies for the unit aligned with company goals. >Identify new market opportunities and ensure the competitive positioning of products. >Forecast trends and proactively adapt strategies to maintain market leadership. 2. Team Management: >Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales managers, medical representatives, and marketing professionals. >Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of targets. 3. Product & Portfolio Management: >Oversee the launch and lifecycle management of pharmaceutical products. >Work closely with R&D, regulatory, and supply chain to ensure timely product availability. >Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics. 4. Sales & Marketing: >Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute promotional strategies. >Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to improve market share and profitability. >Build strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and KOLs. 5. Operational & Financial Oversight: >Prepare and manage budgets for the business unit. >Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical practices. Qualifications & Requirements: >Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D); Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus. >10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or business management role. >Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, regulations, and market dynamics. >Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and business targets. >Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. >Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
