Security Head

Job Description : Security Head UGANDA Ex Indian army people · 20 years of experience in industrial/plant security · Experience in manufacturing setup preferred Package – USD 7.5K pm + bachelor benefits Role Purpose To ensure the safety, security, and protection of company assets, employees, materials, and information by implementing robust security systems, policies, and procedures across the manufacturing facility. --- Key Responsibilities 1. Security Operations Management · Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, procedures, and protocols. · Oversee plant security operations including access control, surveillance, and patrolling. · Ensure 24/7 security coverage of premises. 2. Asset & Infrastructure Protection · Safeguard plant assets, machinery, raw materials, and finished goods. · Prevent theft, pilferage, trespassing, and unauthorized access. 3. Risk Assessment & Crisis Management · Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability audits. · Develop emergency response plans for fire, theft, sabotage, or natural disasters. · Lead incident investigations and prepare reports. 4. Team Management · Supervise and manage security personnel (in-house and outsourced guards). · Conduct training, drills, and performance evaluations. · Ensure discipline and adherence to security protocols. 5. Compliance & Liaison · Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies. · Liaise with local authorities (police, fire department, etc.). · Handle audits related to safety and security. 6. Technology & Surveillance · Manage CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems. · Recommend and implement modern security technologies. 7. Visitor & Contractor Management · Implement strict visitor entry/exit procedures. · Monitor contractor and vendor movement within premises. 8.
