Job Description : Plant Head – FMCG Manufacturing ???? Location: Africa This role is for someone who doesn’t just run plants — but builds high-performing operations across production, quality, engineering, and people. If you’ve led large FMCG manufacturing setups and understand how to balance efficiency, cost, quality, and teams, this is a strong opportunity. ???? What you’ll own: End-to-end plant operations – Production, Processing, Quality, Engineering & QEHS Driving daily shop-floor excellence and adherence to quality systems Improving OEE, reducing wastage, and optimizing conversion costs Leading preventive maintenance & engineering performance Driving cost efficiency and continuous improvement programs Managing industrial relations and union interactions Owning plant budgets – labor, energy, materials, maintenance Ensuring strong implementation of Food Safety & Quality systems (HACCP / FSSC / BRC / ISO) ???? What we’re looking for: 15–20 years of experience in FMCG plant leadership roles Strong exposure to end-to-end plant management & projects Proven ability to lead large teams and cross-functional operations Strong understanding of quality systems, engineering, and IR management Engineering degree from a reputed institute ????
