Senior Operations Manager

Job Description : SENIOR MANAGER OPERATIONS, UGANDA Candidate will be based in Uganda and will be responsible for 1. Identify options and implement actions to adopt best practices for production. 2. Identify potential issues and collaborate with Mine and/or Processing management to prevent, mitigate or resolve them in a real-time environment. 3. The incumbent would head the complete commissioning and operations of the unit. 4. Responsible for reconditioning, refurbishment and operationalizing of the beneficiation plant, Metal Processing Plant. 5. Project design review, suggestions for changes in design and construction which reduces the project cost and time. 6. Budget and Production Planning 7. BE in Mineral Processing/ Metallurgical Engineering are preferred however Mechanical Engineers with relevant experience in the said field can be considered based on previous experience. 8. Thorough knowledge of Copper / Cobalt / Tin/Nickel beneficiation system and pellet plants and should have operational expertise in beneficiation and pellet plant. 9. Experience in Africa working will be Preferred 10. Should have good Project Ex-poser Required Candidate profile Bachelor of Engineering in Mineral Processing/ Metallurgical Engineering are preferred however Mechanical Engineers at least 10 years experience preferable Nickel Laterite and certificate from Indian Bureau of Mines. Should have good experience into Preparing Monthly report on Mine Management
