Director of Fleet Management

Job Description : Director of Fleet Management & Operations NORTH AMERICA Open to International candidates to lead a large-scale, multi-location fleet of 1,000+ assets. This role will be responsible for fleet strategy, asset uptime, lifecycle management, vendor partnerships, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and total cost optimization. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in fleet, transportation, logistics, construction, or field services, with a proven ability to improve performance, reduce cost, and build scalable systems. Key focus areas include: • Fleet strategy and lifecycle planning • Preventive maintenance and uptime improvement • Leased fleet and vendor management • Telematics, fuel programs, and analytics • DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and safety compliance • Budgeting, forecasting, and TCO management • Multi-region team leadership Ideal candidates will have 10–15+ years of fleet or operations experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role, with experience managing large, multi-location fleets. Experience in field services, construction, transportation, logistics, or PE-backed environments is preferred.
