Job Description : Plant Manager – Edible Oil Refinery ???? Location: West Africa ???? Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. ???? Experience: 15 years of experience in edible oil refinery operations. ?? Role Summary: We are hiring an experienced Plant Manager to lead day?to?day operations of a multi?oil edible oil refinery. The ideal candidate must have hands?on experience in soybean, sunflower, palm, and rice bran oil refining, along with strong knowledge of production, maintenance, utilities, quality, and manpower handling. ?? Key Responsibilities: ?? Oversee daily refinery operations and ensure smooth, efficient processing. ?? Achieve optimum yield with minimal losses and monitor downtime, utilities, and production KPIs. ?? Supervise maintenance, utilities, packaging, and tank farm activities. ?? Ensure product quality, safety, hygiene, and food?manufacturing compliance. ?? Lead and manage plant teams, shifts, and operational discipline. ?? Coordinate production planning and drive process improvements. ? Requirements: ?? Strong understanding of refining processes and plant equipment. ?? Experience in team management, troubleshooting, and plant maintenance. ?? Experience in continuous edible oil refinery plants. ?? Prior work experience in African manufacturing environments.
