Job Description : Head – Power Electronics and Drives; General Manager / Chief General Manager – EV Systems Engineering DENMARK Open to International candidates Industry: Electric Commercial Vehicles (E-Bus / E-Truck / E-Tipper Manufacturing) Experience: 25+ Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech / M.Tech – Electrical / Electronics / Power Electronics preferred Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and technically strong leader for the role of Head – Power Electronics and Drives to drive the design, development, implementation, validation and homologation of Power Electronics and Drives for commercial EVs including electric buses, trucks, and tippers. The role will lead development initiatives of some critical EV subsystems such as PMSM Traction Motors, Motor Controllers, Transmission Systems, Power Distribution Units (PDU), Battery Distribution Unit (BDU), Chargers etc. EV Power Electronics & System Engineering · Lead design and development of the following high-voltage (400V to 1000V) Power Electronics and PMSM Traction Motors Motor Control Unit (MCU) Transmission System (Single and Multi-Ratio) Power Distribution Unit (PDU) and Junction Boxes Battery Distribution Unit (BDU) DC-DC Converter On-Board Charger (OBC) Off Board Fast Chargers Flash Chargers Desired Technical Competencies · To have the practical and hands on exposure to: High-voltage PE systems (400V to 1000V) Knowledge of Silicon Carbide (SiC) & GaN-based products Motor performance and efficiency optimization Regenerative braking strategies Through understanding of functional safety till ASIL-D Hands-on exposure to Matlab based simulations Use of HIL and SIL Systems Energy management systems Drivetrain thermal management Motor dyno operation in both speed and torque modes EMI /EMC resolution and mitigation techniques Benchmark global EV powertrain and charging technologies and emerging innovations.
