Job Description : CLUSTER PLANT HEAD NIGERIA for Cement Grinding Unit, located across PAN WEST AFRICA . This role is pivotal in overseeing the operations of our grinding unit, ensuring optimal production and quality standards while maintaining safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities include: 1. **Plant Operations Management** - Oversee all operations including clinker handling, grinding, storage, and dispatch. - Achieve production targets with optimal capacity utilization. - Manage grinding processes involving clinker, gypsum, and additives. 2. **Maintenance & Reliability** - Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all systems. - Ensure high equipment availability and minimize downtime. 3. **Cost & Budget Control** - Manage plant budgets including production, maintenance, and manpower costs. - Optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs. 4. **Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)** - Ensure adherence to safety norms and environmental regulations. - Drive a zero-harm culture and monitor emissions and sustainability initiatives. 5. **Quality Assurance** - Ensure consistent product quality and coordinate with the QC team. - Implement quality improvement initiatives. 6. **Production Planning & Dispatch** - Coordinate with sales and logistics for dispatch planning. - Ensure timely availability of raw materials and optimize dispatch operations. 7. **Continuous Improvement** - Implement TPM, Six Sigma, and Lean initiatives. - Drive digitalization and automation efforts. 8. **Compliance & Governance** - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain documentation standards. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** - Plant capacity utilization - Power consumption - Production cost per ton - Equipment uptime - Safety performance - Dispatch efficiency - Quality consistency **Qualifications & Experience** - Education: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) - Experience: 125 years in the cement industry, with a minimum of 5 years as Plant Head/Unit Head. **Key Skills & Competencies** - Strong leadership and team management
