Head of Quality

Job Description : Head of Quality – Electric Vehicle Manufacturing POLAND Open to International candidates Head of Quality to lead and oversee the quality management system for our Electric Vehicle manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will ensure product excellence, compliance with industry standards, and continuous improvement in quality processes, driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system (QMS) aligned with industry standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.). Lead quality assurance and control activities across the manufacturing process, from raw materials to final product delivery. Establish quality benchmarks, KPIs, and metrics to monitor and improve product quality. Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Collaborate with R&D, Production, Supply Chain, and Service teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into product development and manufacturing processes. Conduct supplier quality audits and assessments to ensure component quality. Lead and develop quality team members, fostering a culture of quality consciousness. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards related to electric vehicle manufacturing. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technological advancements in EV manufacturing quality. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering or related field. 25+ years of experience in quality management within automotive or electric vehicle manufacturing. Proven track record of leading quality teams and managing large-scale quality initiatives. Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and relevant automotive regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with advanced quality tools like Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis. Familiarity with EV-specific technologies and manufacturing processes is preferred.
