Job Description : GCFO TANZANIA The Group CFO is responsible for leading the financial strategy, governance, and performance of a diversified organization operating across Manufacturing, Trading, Logistics, and multiple sectors. As a key advisor to the CEO, the role drives financial discipline, capital efficiency, and sustainable growth across all entities and geographies. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the group financial strategy aligned with business objectives Provide strategic advice on investments, capital allocation, and expansion initiatives Oversee group consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and IFRS-compliant reporting Drive financial performance across sectors, focusing on: Manufacturing: cost control, COGS, capex efficiency Trading: working capital, margins, credit risk Logistics: cost optimization, supply chain efficiency Manage treasury, cash flow, funding, and banking relationships Ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance Lead audit, tax, and statutory compliance across jurisdictions Drive finance transformation, ERP, and analytics adoption Build and lead a high-performing group finance team Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulators Key Requirements Qualifications CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA (mandatory) MBA / Master s in Finance (preferred) Experience 15 20+ years in finance, with 5+ years in CFO / senior leadership roles Proven experience in diversified groups (Manufacturing, Trading, Logistics) Strong exposure to multi-entity and multi-country operations (Africa preferred) Skills Strong financial strategy and commercial acumen Deep expertise in IFRS, consolidation, and financial controls Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills High integrity and governance mindset Profile Dynamic, result-oriented leader Able to operate in complex, fast-paced environments Strong analytical and strategic thinker
