Packing Manager

Job Description : Packing Manager – Edible Oil ???? Location: West Africa ???? Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Food Technology, or related field ???? Experience: 6–8 years in packing/filling operations (edible oil, beverages, or liquid FMCG) ?? Role Summary: We are hiring an experienced Packing Manager to lead end?to?end operations of edible oil filling and packaging lines. The ideal candidate should have strong hands?on experience in automated filling systems, packaging line management, and driving operational efficiency, along with the ability to lead teams and implement best practices in a manufacturing environment. ?? Key Responsibilities: ?? Manage end?to?end filling, capping, labelling, and secondary packaging operations ?? Drive OEE improvement and overall efficiency on packing lines ?? Develop and implement SOPs for all packing activities ?? Plan and coordinate packaging material and inventory with procurement ?? Lead, train, and mentor packing teams to build strong operational capability ?? Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards ?? Monitor and report line efficiency, yield, waste, and downtime ?? Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown activities ?? Support new product launches and packaging formats ? Requirements: ?? Experience in edible oil / beverage / liquid FMCG packing operations ?? Strong hands?on knowledge of automated filling and packaging equipment ?? Exposure to multi?plant or international manufacturing setup preferred ?? Experience in SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives ?? Strong leadership and cross?cultural team management skills ?? Willingness to relocate to West Africa
