LOGISTICS AND ADMIN MANAGER 
20 yearsJob Description : LOGISTICS AND ADMIN MANAGER ZAMBIA/ZIMBABWE The Logistics & Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete import, logistics, administration, facility management, and operational support functions of the organization in Madagascar. The role ensures smooth day-to-day business operations by managing custom clearance, transportation, warehousing, procurement coordination, office administration, vendor management, compliance, and support services. The position requires strong leadership, operational planning, cost control, and coordination abilities to ensure efficient logistics and administrative operations while maintaining company policies and local regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Logistics & Supply Chain Management Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations. Coordinate transportation, shipment planning, and delivery schedules. Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch. Ensure inventory accuracy and stock control. Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and clearing agents. Monitor shipment status and resolve operational delays. Ensure timely customs clearance and documentation compliance. Optimize logistics costs and operational efficiency. Fleet Management Manage company vehicles and transportation activities. Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance, insurance, and registrations. Ensure proper fuel management and route optimization. Supervise drivers and transportation vendors. Administration Management Oversee office administration and facility management. Ensure smooth functioning of office infrastructure and utilities. Manage office supplies, stationery, housekeeping, and security services. Coordinate travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and employee support services. Maintain company records, contracts, and administrative documentation. Ensure proper maintenance of office assets and equipment. Vendor & Procurement Coordination Coordinate with vendors and service providers. Negotiate service contracts and monitor vendor performance. Support procurement activities for operational requirements. Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and documentation. Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations. Coordinate with government authorities and external agencies when required. Maintain statutory documentation and operational licenses. Ensure workplace safety and security standards are maintained. Team Management Supervise logistics, administration, warehouse, and support staff. Monitor employee discipline, attendance, and productivity. Conduct training and performance evaluations. Develop SOPs and operational procedures. Reporting & MIS Prepare logistics and administration reports for management. Monitor operational budgets and cost control measures. Maintain records of inventory, fleet, assets, and administrative expenses. Provide operational analysis and improvement recommendations. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics and administration management. Experience in any of the three market is must. Strong understanding of warehouse, transport, and office administration functions. Knowledge of import/export and customs procedures is must. Experience in handling vendors and operational compliance.
