Job Description : Plant Manager – Food Industry NAMIBIA A leading food manufacturing company specialized in Sauces and Marinade Mixes (Ketchup, Mayonnaise, and related products) is seeking to hire a highly qualified: Job Summary: To lead and manage all plant operations efficiently, ensuring the highest standards of productivity quality and food safety. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Chemical / Food Engineering). • 10–15 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry. • preference for candidates with experience in Sauces and Marinade Mixes (Ketchup, Mayonnaise, etc.). • Proven experience in plant management and operations leadership. • Solid knowledge of food safety and quality systems. • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. • ERP knowledge is an advantage. Job Responsibilities: • Oversee full plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehousing. • Develop and execute production plans to meet business targets. • Ensure compliance with Food Safety & Quality standards (HACCP – ISO 22000). • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. • Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams. • Monitor production performance and ensure adherence to specifications. • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
