Job Description : FINANCE HEAD UAE A leading multinational pharmaceutical company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead its local financial operations. This is a high-impact role where you will shape the financial strategy of a globally recognised organisation while ensuring compliance, operational excellence and alignment with international standards. This position requires extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing within the GCC region, as well as a proven track record in finance leadership roles at the executive level. Candidates without this specific background will not be considered. Responsibilities Oversee all financial activities for the UAE operations, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Develop and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives and market conditions. Lead budgeting cycles, rolling forecasts and variance analysis to support executive decision-making. Manage consolidated reporting under IFRS standards and oversee tax compliance across borders. Optimise treasury functions, including cash flow management and foreign exchange hedging. Drive cost control initiatives across manufacturing sites and align procurement with financial targets. Establish robust internal controls, risk mitigation plans and ethical financial practices. Collaborate with senior executives to align operations with financial goals and guide capital structuring decisions. Build high-performing teams through talent development, succession planning and knowledge sharing. Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting (a Master’s degree is preferred). Professional certification (e.g., ACCA) with expertise in IFRS or GAAP standards. At least 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including 10 years at the executive level within pharmaceutical manufacturing organisations operating in the GCC region. Proven ability to manage multi-entity environments with responsibilities spanning consolidation, tax optimisation, treasury management, audit coordination and risk mitigation. Experience driving finance transformation projects and implementing digital solutions for operational efficiency. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration within multicultural teams and influence senior stakeholders effectively
