Factory Manager

Job Description : FACTORY MANAGER UAE FOR FROZEN FOOD The Frozen Factory Manager will develop fit for purpose strategic and operational capability and oversight across the frozen factory organization and ensure that all factory production objectives and activities are aligned with the group’s goals. This person will be responsible for the implementation of Lean manufacturing strategy in his value stream and ensuring the delivery of the operating plan and process improvement in managing relevant KPIs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Oversee and ensure safe, efficient and timely production of all products in the manufacturing site · Develop and drive continuous improvement (CI) activities at site improving safety, quality, output and customer delivery performance · Set, communicate, and maintain performance, quality and safety standards · Ensure the implementation of all processes, policies, procedures, and initiatives across the company · Implementation of Lean principles · Measure production output to meet agreed targets and plans/forecasts, customer orders and to develop analysis on how and where production losses are occurring · Develop with site team Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) ensure staff are trained and measure and ensure compliance to these standards · Monitor site cost and budgets including labor, engineering, and maintenance spend, miscellaneous purchases, fuel and others to ensure control within budgeted levels · Develop plans to reduce the overall cost base of the site · Maintain effective long-term relationships with a large range of stakeholders KEY INGREDIENTS · Minimum of BSC in food technology, and/or Meat processing · Previous experience within frozen meat and poultry manufacturing facilities, with at least 5 years in a management position and 15+ years overall · Comprehensive knowledge, understanding and application of interpersonal skills, principles and team-building processes. · Excellent knowledge and experience in LEAN principles and implementation methods · Excellent communication with fluency in English · Previous experience in budgeting, production management, waste analysis, problem-solving techniques and lean manufacturing implementation. · Strong analytical organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously · Good knowledge in MS Office
